About us

nstore means “my store”.

The name comes from Sissali, spoken in Tumu and the Sissala area of Ghana's Upper West. It's a reminder of who we build for: the owner of a small shop.

01

Why

Most small shops still run on a notebook: one for sales, one for what customers owe, and a guess at how much stock is left.

Profit is whatever is in the drawer at the end of the day. Shop software exists, but it's usually built for supermarkets — expensive, made for a computer, and useless when the network drops.

We built nstore to give community shops the same tools, on the phone in their pocket, at a price that makes sense.

Every small shop should know what it sold, what it's owed, what it has left, and what it actually made.

Beliefs

What we hold to.

  1. 01

    The phone you already have

No computer, no till, no scanner to buy. If you have a smartphone, you have everything you need.

  2. 02

    Made for real networks

Signal comes and goes. nstore keeps selling offline and catches up when the network returns.

  3. 03

    Priced for small shops

A free plan that stays free, and paid plans priced in cedis that a small shop can afford — paid with MoMo.

  4. 04

    Simple on purpose

Every screen is built so a new shopkeeper can use it on day one, without training or a manual.

Start with your own shop.

Set up your shop in a few minutes. Every new shop gets 14 days of Standard free — no card needed.
