Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms are the agreement between you and nstore ("nstore", "we") for using the nstore app and website. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

The service

nstore is point-of-sale and shop-management software: sales, stock, credit, expenses and reports, with an offline mode that syncs when your phone reconnects. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and you are responsible for checking your own figures.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Ghanaian law.
  • Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the staff you invite.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Plans and payment

  • Current prices: Free GHC 0, Standard GHC 50/mo, Pro GHC 120/mo. Prices are in Ghana Cedis and shown in the app before you pay.
  • New shops get a 14-day free trial of the Standard plan. No payment details are needed, and the shop moves to the Free plan when the trial ends unless you choose to pay.
  • Paid plans are prepaid for 30 days. They do not renew automatically; you choose whether to pay again. If a paid plan runs out, your shop moves to the Free plan and your data is kept.
  • Payments are processed by Paystack. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
  • We may change prices. Any change applies from your next payment, and we will show it in the app at least 30 days before.

Taking Mobile Money at the till

If you accept MoMo payments through nstore, the money is collected by Paystack and settled to the Mobile Money number you give us, on Paystack's settlement schedule. Paystack's transaction fees are deducted from the amount settled. You must also follow Paystack's own terms. We are not a bank and do not hold your money.

Your data and your customers

  • You own your shop's data. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service.
  • If you record customers' names and phone numbers, you must have their agreement and use their details only for your shop — for example, reminding them of a debt they owe you.
  • Only send WhatsApp or SMS messages that the recipient would expect from your shop.

Acceptable use

You must not use nstore to:

  • sell illegal goods or record fraudulent sales;
  • harass people or send spam;
  • upload photos or content you do not have the right to use;
  • try to break, overload, or get around the security or plan limits of the service.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we will warn you first and explain why.

Availability

We work to keep nstore running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Sales made offline are stored on your phone until they sync; if the phone is lost, broken or cleared before it reconnects, those unsynced sales can be lost. Sync regularly.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ghanaian consumer law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using nstore at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may end the service for an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we ever shut nstore down, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your records.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. If you keep using nstore after that, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If you have a complaint, contact us first by phone or WhatsApp on 055 031 8885 and we will try to resolve it. If we cannot, the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction.
